# PDF Autopen — Privacy PolicyEffective date: June 16, 2026PDF Autopen is made by Black-Box. This policy explains how the app handles your
information. The short version: PDF Autopen does not collect any data, and your
documents never leave your device unless you choose to share them.
## What we collectNothing. PDF Autopen has no account, no sign-in, and no analytics. We do not
collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. There are no
third-party advertising or tracking SDKs in the app.
## Your documents stay on your deviceWhen you open or import a PDF, the app saves a working copy in its own private
storage on your device and does all reading, signing, and editing entirely
on-device. Your documents and signatures are never uploaded to us or to anyone
else.
A document leaves the app only when you explicitly export or share it (for
example via Save a Copy, Mail, Messages, AirDrop, or Files). In that case it goes
wherever you send it — not to Black-Box.
## SignaturesThe signatures and initials you create are stored locally on your device so you
can reuse them. They stay on your device and are included in a document only when
you place them and export that document yourself.
## PermissionsPDF Autopen accesses files only when you open or import them, or when you export.
It does not access your contacts, location, photos, microphone, or camera.
## Data retention and deletionBecause everything is stored locally, you stay in control. You can delete
documents and saved signatures from within the app, and deleting the app removes
all of its data from your device.
## ChildrenPDF Autopen is a general-purpose document tool and is not directed at children.## Changes to this policyIf this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the effective date
above.
